Why get involved with your MIT Club?

• Club volunteers are a friendly, welcoming, diverse group that is fun to work with
• Volunteering with the Club is great way to meet other alums, stay connected to MIT, and network professionally
• It is an opportunity to learn valuable leadership skills

We have made great progress in the last year in attracting a baseline of volunteers, but many more are needed. Your Club is seeking alums for volunteer opportunities as varied as the Institute itself, but with a much shorter time commitment, and no fire hose. We promise. What are we looking for?

• Event coordinator - host or owner of an event
• Newsletter editor
• Graphics artist
• Directory editor
• USPS Mail-online direct mailer
• Web site designer & builder
• Membership volunteers, such as:
  
  • Recruiter who uses New Neighbor Report
  • Recruiter at events
  • Data handler - records manager and reporter

We also looking for volunteers to populate 3 new committees: Programs (or events), Membership, and Communications. We encourage all alums, including new grads, to join us.
